Damascening is an ancient art that gives identity to the city of Toledo, much like its swords, the Cathedral, the Alcázar, or marzipan. In recent weeks, it has received good news regarding its protection through the declaration of Damascening as an Asset of Cultural Interest (BIC).
Likewise, it has been a protagonist in the latest edition of Farcama, led by Toledo native Raquel de la Torre. Her work ‘Dilataciones’ won the award in the ‘Entrepreneurship’ category, recognizing her work at the helm of ‘Togashi Damasquinos,’ a family business with over 50 years of experience.
